Bordex Packaging will present its latest innovations at Interpack 2023: a revolutionary range of snack packaging made from 100% engineered cellulose sourced from FSC-certified forests. Using pioneering SinterCell™ technology, the material provides an excellent natural barrier.
What makes these packs special is that they are fully compostable, biodegradable and infinitely recyclable without the addition of new material. This allows them to offer a sustainable alternative to plastic and can be used in a variety of applications, such as trays, coffee cups and other food packaging.
Bordex’s stand at Interpack 2023 will also showcase the new SinterCell™-200 fiber molding machine developed by Hoting Innovations. SCE Technology BV (part of the Bordex Group) is the exclusive distributor of this SinterCell™ production technology for the European market. The high-speed machine sets a new standard for cellulose fiber production in the packaging industry by combining the latest technologies with many years of experience.
Interpack is not only the world’s largest and most important trade fair for the packaging industry and related processing sectors but also a meeting place where suppliers and customers from more than 165 countries gather to network and do business. The event will take place from 4 to 10 May 2023 at the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition centre and promises to present a wealth of innovations.
