Easy to use
Immediately after preparing the meal, the dish is sealed. The intelligent ‘EasySteam Valve’ ensures that any excess pressure is removed in a controlled manner. As soon as the meal has cooled down sufficiently, the valve is set in the ‘closed mode’. The horizontal position of the valve is rotated 90° to a vertical position. The dish is thus completely closed and free of any air (sealed). The tamper-evident closure guarantees the one-time use. Before the end user heats up the meal, the tamper-evident seal is broken. This is done by tilting the valve to a horizontal position.
Meals heated up in no time
Heating up pre-cooked meals is an important step in achieving a tasty meal. With the preservation of quality, flavour and nutritional value. PressurePack helps! The patented system guarantees the correct pressure during heating, without any positive- or negative pressure. The innovative EasySteam Valve, integrated in the rim, guarantees a controlled release of air. Piercing too many, or too few holes, in the film to prevent the accumulation of water vapour or too much pressure is now a thing of the past. The meal is heated under the best (controlled) conditions; not too dry or too sticky.

Autoclave? Air-in steam-out!
Heating up, cooking, but also pasteurising! The smart ‘air-in steam-out’ system ensures that just the right amount of air is added during the heating of a meal. If the pressure becomes too high, the correct amount of steam is discharged and vice versa. The EasySteam Valve, incorporated in the rim, guarantees optimum performance. This makes it easy to remove the top seal film (easy peel). The tray can be recycled as a mono material.
Effective use of materials
PressurePack trays are cooked or heated without positive- or negative pressure. Adding extra material for more strength of the tray walls is therefore not an issue. With relatively thin walls, the contents can be heated, cooked or even pasteurised. Combined with the advantages of our EcoFit© technology, this makes the trays lighter and therefore more sustainable.
