NL Packaging Awards: PET360® Wins Gold in the Disposables Category

Five hundred professionals from the packaging industry were present in Hilversum on Thursday 15th March for the presentation of the NL Packaging Awards 2018. Hosted by the television presenter Art Rooijakkers, it was an evening of networking, dining, performances by various artistes and, of course, the announcement of the winners by the jury chairpeople. Twelve winners and eleven runners-up were awarded prizes. There had been no less than 150 submissions and 52 nominations.

We prefer 100% PET glasses

PET360® Wins Gold in the Disposables Category The jury: ‘Disposables is a difficult category. How relevant are they? Reusable rPET glasses are a solution. They are safer than glass at events but they are used in large numbers. We prefer plastic beer glasses made from 100% PET waste. PET glasses were made with 40% recycled PET (r-PET) supplemented with virgin white, but thanks to the use of PET360®, it is now possible to produce glasses from 100% PET waste.’
